It could be that my installation had an /etc/sysconfig/ntpdate because I updated it from F17.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5068791141130512803.post-79084347981515606862013-05-31T02:21:19.174-04:002013-05-31T02:21:19.174-04:00Interesting. /etc/sysconfig/ntpdate doesn't e...Interesting. /etc/sysconfig/ntpdate doesn't exist on my F18 installation and systemctl doesn't seem to know anything about it. Some searching turned up "chronyd", which seems to have replaced ntpd? My ntp has been working ever since install time, but I didn't realize that under the hood it was using chrony rather than ntpd/ntpdate.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00236245028557532307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5068791141130512803.post-519422222572346642012-12-23T07:26:15.510-05:002012-12-23T07:26:15.510-05:00FDE Full Disk Encryption for Linux Mint 14 Nadia:

I found the same script and managed to get it working. However, I made a number of changes that fit with my requirements. These include the option of dumping LUKS restore files to the Live install environment, creating a recovery (additional) passphrase, removing the separate /home partition, and adding an option to try a kludgy fix for boot-time black screen problems related to the passphrase prompt. I also opted to make the /boot partition 256MB.<br /><br />If you'd like to try the script, it's at http://pastebin.com/z4rP8miW<br /><br />If not, you might try calling ubiquity with sudo. That caused some problems for me.unununiumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03232007031426486425noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5068791141130512803.post-33809894745507022092011-11-25T09:26:27.062-05:002011-11-25T09:26:27.062-05:00Worked here too.
